From traditional to timeless contemporary, my removing the pony wall and part of the kitchen wall, the kitchen looked like it had doubled in size. The homeowners wanted something that would stand the test of time and grow with them and their families. Entertaining and family gatherings were a regular thing in this house and the existing layout didn't live up to the growing family's needs. More space with an island to bring everyone together were just a few elements of this design.
